A contractor for the U.S. Agency for International Development says she’s concerned about the way the agency’s work force has been drastically cut, as well as the implications of the move.
Jennifer Gauck, a USAID contractor from Frederick who was laid off this week as part of cuts by President Donald Trump’s administration, attended a rally Wednesday in Washington, D.C., to protest the changes to the agency.
Gauck said in an interview that she worked as an institutional support contractor for about four years, and had worked in the international development field for about 20 years overall. MORE
