About the Program:

The USAID Spring Pathways Internship Program offers paid internships for students enrolled in a wide range of educational institutions. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working on significant projects that align with their academic or career interests. This is more than just an internship—it’s an investment in your future!

What You’ll Do:

Interns are assigned to work in missions, offices, or bureaus across USAID, where they will:

  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Write program memoranda
  • Facilitate meetings and special events
  • Attend and contribute to program discussions
  • Perform both program-related and administrative tasks

Who is Eligible:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must be currently enrolled in a qualifying academic program
  • Undergraduate students: Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Graduate students: Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service
  • Must sign the Pathways Internship Agreement, if selected
  • Maintain eligibility and enrollment for the internship duration
